Prague accommodation- Arcadia Residence Serviced Apartments
During our stay in Prague, we stayed in Arcadia Residence. It is in the quiet area of Vysehrad right at the bottom of Vysehrad hill. Its about 3 tram stops from Narodni Divadlo (near Charles Bridge) and has very reasonable rates. Nearest tram stop is
It is run by Pasquale, his mum Anne Mary, Max and a dedicated and helpful team.
We had requested a pick up cab (having read about Prague Taxi Drivers). When we reached Prague airport terminal 1 from the UK, driver was already waiting for us. It was about 20-25 mins drive to Arcadia. When we reached there, Max was already waiting for us.
He helped us with the luggage and gave us an orientation with help of maps etc. on where we were. He also gave us maps and information on how to go to the city center etc. He was very kind to walk me to the nearest tram stop and grocery store on the same day to make us a ease. You can also buy your tram tickets at Arcadia. Max was very helpful in asking us at the end of the day how it all went and also giving useful suggestions. When I informed that we are vegetarians, he also gave us the list of vegetarian restaurants in Prague.
They serve breakfast at any time in the day you want.
Max/ Pasquale: if you are reading this, please pass on our heartfelt thanks to Ann for her wonderful breakfast and her genuine eagerness to make sure we get what we like. Our children being very fussy about eating, she also changed the breakfast menu on next day. We also want to thank her for her special cookies and cakes for children.
All team at Arcadia Residence is very helpful and when we visit Prague again, we know where we’ll stay.
I highly recommend it for young couples, old, travelers with Children and everyone really.
Note: This is my absolutely independent view and I do not have any commercial interest.
